We are seeking you to become our Vice President of Sales and Marketing for our Ontario / British Columbia, Canada region & Los Angelas, New York, United States region!
The Vice President of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for overseeing the organization's core development, sales processes and driving key marketing strategies to establish a North American business partner base.
Responsibilities
Recruit, coach and mentor the sales team, driving the uplift of skills and helping them work through complex problems.
Promotion and demand generation to drive awareness and consideration through leads and opportunities for sales channels
Channel strategy and sales, product management and revenue growth
Develop understanding of customer needs through thoughtful research in order to develop service offering, pricing and bundling strategies
Qualifications
Previous experience in strategizing and developing in the Cannabis industry is an asset
Well-established connection in cannabis industry is an asset. Proven relationship builder who can connect with customers and business partners
Demonstrated ability to gain credibility with staff, colleagues, and clients required
Exemplary leadership and communication skills required
Minimum 5 years responsibility for leading customer acquisition and retention, with a range of experience utilizing various channels for demand generation and sales
Encourage, develop and maintain good relationships with our business partners in order to ensure satisfaction, loyalty and foster commercial links
Comfortable in an entrepreneurial and early-stage business environment with an understanding of how larger businesses operate
Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms, and with sales automation tools
This is a mobile position and significant travel is required
